Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg Lewis Bake Shop 12pk Hawaiian Sliders
  • 6 sliders of your favorite cheese (American, cheddar, pepper jack, etc.)
  • 12 fully cooked sausage patties
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Maple Topping:

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9″x13″ baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Lay the slider bottoms in the prepared dish and cover with the 6 slices of cheese.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper and add mixture to the skillet. Cook eggs to desired consistency.
  4. Spread the cooked egg mixture, aligning with the bottoms of the buns as best as possible, then cover the patties with the shredded cheese.
  5. Top with the slider tops to complete the sandwiches.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and maple syrup. Brush on tops of the sliders and allow to drizzle down the sides of the sandwiches. Use the entire amount of the maple topping for maximum flavor.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted. Let set for about 5 minutes before unwrapping the foil, and serve warm.
To start, preheat your oven and line a 9″x13″ baking dish with aluminum foil. Line up the bottoms of the sliders across the bottom of the prepared dish.
Then cover with your favorite cheese slices, such as cheddar, pepper jack or Colby jack. Or mix it up with a few different options to keep everyone guessing!
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and beat together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Then spread the cooked egg mixture over the cheese slices in the prepared dish.
Place the patties on top of the egg mixture. Try to align the patties with the bottoms of the buns as best as you can so that each sandwich has a sausage patty.
Then cover everything with the shredded cheese. Again, you can choose whatever type of cheese you like, and you can even make it a different kind than the slices you put on the bottom.
Top with the slider tops to complete the sandwiches.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and maple syrup. Brush on tops of the sliders and allow to drizzle down the sides of the sandwiches. Use the entire amount of the maple topping for maximum flavor. Really, don’t skimp on this part because this is what really makes these sandwiches extraordinary.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is fully melted. Remove from the over and let it set for about 5 minutes before unwrapping the foil.
Serve warm!
