Here it is – Part Three of our Delicious Pie Iron Recipes! We’ve given you ten total recipes for you and your family to use while enjoying the great outdoors. We hope that you’ve enjoyed these with your family just as much as we have!

(Please use caution while handling hot pie irons.)

Mountain Berry Pudgy Breakfast Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop 12 Grain Bread
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberry Pie Filling
  • 2 Fresh Strawberries, Sliced
  • Butter or Margarine

Directions:

  1. Butter one side of both slices of bread and place in each side of the pie iron, with buttered side facing down.
  2. Spread blueberry pie filling on one of the bread slices, and layer strawberry slices on top.
  3. Close the pie iron to top with other slice of bread.
  4. Cook each side for a few minutes, until lightly browned.

Bratwurst Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop Hearty Rye Bread
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard
  • 1/3 of a Bratwurst, Cooked and Sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons Sauerkraut
  • Cooking Spray or Butter

Directions:

  1. Coat each side of the pie iron with cooking spray or melted butter and place a slice of bread in each side.
  2. Spread mustard on one slice of bread in the pie iron and top with sliced bratwurst.
  3. Add sauerkraut on top of bratwurst slices.
  4. Close pie iron to top with other slice of bread.
  5. Cook for a few minutes, until bread is golden brown.

Nutty Strawberry Banana Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop Nutty Oat Bread
  • 1/4 Cup Cocoa Hazelnut Spread
  • 1/3 Banana, Sliced
  • 2 or 3 Strawberries, Sliced
  • Cooking Spray or Butter

Directions:

  1. Coat each side of the pie iron with cooking spray or melted butter.
  2. Spread cocoa hazelnut spread on one side of each slice of bread and place in each of side of the pie iron, with hazelnut spread facing up.
  3. Layer banana and strawberry slices on one side of the pie iron.
  4. Close the pie iron to top with the other slice of bread.
  5. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes.
