Delicious Pie Iron Recipes

There is nothing better than food cooked over an open flame, whether you are camping in the great outdoors or roasting over a fire pit in your backyard. A favorite campfire tool of many is the pie iron, a sandwich maker for grilling an endless array of sweet and savory delights. We’ve put together our favorite pie iron recipes that you can use with the Lewis Bake Shop Bread of your choice. And if you don’t have a pie iron, these recipes can also be made on a griddle.

(Please note: cooking times using a pie iron will vary, so it is a good idea to check your sandwich often to prevent burning. Also, please use caution when handling hot pie irons.)
